THE BOYS...
Fuego Deluxe & Sazón De Soto
From Dancers to Musicians
The Cabana Boys are an out-of-the-box singer/rapper duo from Los Angeles. Their fresh, high-energy sound combines hip-hop, R&B, dance and reggaeton, elements to sculpt a unique flavor of music. The Cabana Boys echoes influences of Pit Bull, Outkast and The BeeGees, peppered with with the fun of LMFAO.
Sazon de Soto
From a young age, Bryan Soto, aka 'Sazon De Soto' grew up singing and dancing at family talent shows and rocking block parties with his sisters, who are also professional dancers.
JK Rowdy
JK enjoyed stringed instruments growing up, and played the violin. He found a passion for poetry and lyricism after hearing The Slim Shady LP and would entertain his friends by freestyling cars. During college, JK became a touring Polynesian dancer, all the while independently producing an award-winning feature length film, "All Night" in which he played the character, "Vern", an overconfident, overprotective ex-boyfriend.
History:
Sazon and JK met at the Long Beach Music Festival in 2012, bonding over their mutual love of music and dance. The seeds for, 'The Cabana Boys' were planted.
Over the next four years, Sazon & Fuego would be involved with two seperate dance companies (The Adam Basma Dance Company dancing Lebonese Depke and Raiz Brazil, dancing samba) and a Grammy performance. It wasn't until 2015 that they decided to begin writing and recording music that apply their eclectic influences and backgrounds to deliver the fun of dance to their own musical arrangements and performances.
After performing at a variety of venues, both nationally and internationally, the duo took the 2020 pandemic as an opportunity to tear down and reformulate their music to give the world what it needs: love and encouragement. After more than two dozen unreleased songs, The Cabana Boys has finally found their sound. The Cabana Boys are streaming on all platforms. (Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud, Amazon).
